I've really enjoyed looking through your gallery. You're very talented and also quite creative, which is a very good combination. While your fashion isn't something I would wear (for the most part - you surprised me with a few articles I want!), it's very well-done. You clearly understand fabric and clothing construction, and you have a generally good grasp on anatomy. Aside from a few nitpicks on individual pictures, I think your women are a little thin in the torso-area and therefore look a bit unbalanced... also, something about your profiles are a little bit squashed-looking. I'm glad you're experimenting with different variations on your style, but sometimes the facial features are placed strangely (or are too large/small for the balance of the face) and throw things off a bit. Overall, though, you're an outstanding artist. I think perhaps you should do a few more facial studies to work on the balance issues, but that may be completely irrelevant by now (for instance, your more recent works generally have more balanced faces).
Sorry for such a long crit, as I'm not entirely sure that's what you are looking for in comments, but I really like your art. Enough to comment on it. That's meant as a compliment. ^_~ | |
