SciFi and Fantasy Art Chrysalis by Christine Unteregger

Chrysalis - the moment when the fey-nature awakens in a changeling. The moment when your old, used world is shattered to be replaced by a new, fantastical one full of glamour. Deirdre Sullivan, a highschool girl, was taken to a strange house by her grandpa. There he changed into a satyr and introduced her to Arcadia, the world of dreams. And during her second visit she learned she was a changeling, too. I know there are several mistakes I've made in this picture. But it is my first full colour picture and so I thought you would like to see it. - ink and coloured pencils

I love how her reflection is so acurate... but maybe you could fade it some? Reflection aren't ALWAYS the exact same replica of the person... especially not in a place like Arcadia.

Hey...so do we get to see a before and after shot? One with her looking into the pond as a plain person and seeing the reflection she's to become? ;-)
