SciFi and Fantasy Art Doji Setuko by Christine Unteregger

She is the leader of our Legend of the 5 Rings party. Her position as an emerald magistrate allows her to travel Rokugan with her yorikis - us - and to solve problems that are beyond the abilities of lokal magistrates. You know that kind of problem: murder amongst nobles, destructive ogres, magic and ... I decided to colour it (my first try at humans). I put the old and the new version side on side so you can compare. Please tell me what you think of it.

15 Mar 2000	Melissa L. Hoy	Loading... Silly Cranes. Purple is a much better color for hair. Or anything else for that matter. I think you did an excellent job in coloring. The features lost a little detail in the coloring, but that happens.

24 May 2000	Madeline Quirk	Loading... I really like the pencil version, but you did colour it well. I actually think it would have looked good done in a sepia colour, to make it look old... her presense is very powerful though.
2 Jul 2000	Zazarus	Loading... L5R, yes. Rock on. I like the look of the colored in picture. the features have a softer look to them in it, and for women I find it makes them look more like a woman. The only thing I would have done different, is I would have brought the cranes beak down to either thinner point or to the blue rim, like the way it is normally done. but others wise, I love the picture.

23 Mar 2001	Jill & Jess	Loading... Jill: This is a cool picture. I like it alot!!!! Jess: This is really good! I like the before and after pictures. I only wish I could draw like that! She looks like a leader, kinda has that athorative look.
22 Aug 2002	Markus Krusberg	Loading... Crane rules! The crane symbol on the background could be a little larger so that the thin legs of the bird could be seen. But it´s a good picture anyway.
