Ouch!

His smile looks like the Joker's and he has Wonder Woman's tiarra. The rest of the picture looks pretty good, but I just had to comment on the similarities. Also it is tough to judge the size of the gnats. Perhaps if you did some overlaping it would make it look more clear. For example if you want them to look real big have a leg or wing of one of the closer gnats disapear behind the elf.

It reminds me of the plagues that God sent upon Egypt in Exodus.

so... you are familiar with those pests, that are always there, where is LARP... in north it is unavoidable. this is reality. hmm... maybe this is a good idea for LARP. the attack of insects...

Bugspray ain't gonna help you with these buggers... Might I suggest a flamethrower? Also, beware the blooddrinking insect that can rip a hole through mosquito netting.

Is it just me.. or is that Randall guy ALWAYS referring to each of your pictures with a biblical scripture. It's quite annoying as fantasy has nothing to do with religion.

Anyways, that irk put aside, I do agree that the gnats should have some sort of depth to them. To me it seems as if they are going past the elf and toward the on-looker. If that is what you were going for I would put a gnat a little in front of the elf or behind the elf if that is not what you were representing.
I don't agree with the person that said that your elf looked like the Joker. That's just mean. I see the mustache, don't worry about 'Jokers' like that. They just say that sorta stuff to irk you. >^_^<
