	Hraban, the beast - that's what the villagers call the dragon. They hate and they fear him, but there is one woman who is different. She has seen past the facade of violence and madness and found a soul that wanted to be loved.

24 Jul 1999	AYS	Loading... This reminds me of a character from one of my stories. She ran away from home at an early age to become a dragonrider, and spent so much time with her dragon, she began to shun humanity altogether, seeking comfort in the arms (and wings) of her reptilian ally. Their child is pretty cute, for a crossbreed. ^_^

Isaiah 27:1 "In that day the LORD with his sore and great and stong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea." Maybe he embraces her because that is what serpents do in order to suffocate their victims. Leviathan is another name for Satan by the way.

Uh, I'm no Bible scholar but I'm pretty sure 'leviathan' is the name of a giant sea monster that rises up from the depths sometime at the beginning of Revelations... his name may have been used as a metaphor for Satan but nowhere have I heard that it is Satan. Then again I really don't know what I'm talking about, so it is more of an obsessive-compulsive response than any reliable source of factual information. So there. For what it's worth. I felt I had to insert my insignificant commentary again, didn't I, instead of just going off to bed like a good little girl, is that it, is that it?
