Btw I think what makes them so compact is the fact, that I tried to make their torso deeper (seen from the side) so it looks more like the neck of a horse (and the human parts not so stuck on the equine part unnaturally). I think that is a very different point of view - and maybe unusual for the most of you.

Reep | Loading...Quite nice, I think. there's something a little funny about the human parts, but I can't quite pick out what it is .. and your comment does bear notice, it's true. Anyways.. I'm especially taken by the heron in the foreground. That plumage is just grand! Great detailing. I think my only real criticism is that I'd like to see more shadow. I think it would help define the "layers" a bit more and push the heron out and the centaurs back, so that the relative size isn't such a drastic shift. It's clear to me what's going on with te bird in front, but it would be even clearer with more shading.

Bird | Loading...Oooooh excellent details and foreground, just looking at the comments here, well if you look at the musculature of a horse, I don't think you can have skinny human forms just plonked in there, I like the fact that they are much more defined like that, Well done again, keep up the good work and bright imagination! ^_^

| 2 Aug 2000 | Anon. | Loading...I really like this. I especially like the horse part of these Centauresses. Alot of artists I've seen make the legs look odd, or somethingl ike that, but I really like this. And I also think that the bird and dragon fly are wonderfull. | |

| 11 Oct 2002 | Abigail Barbara Fay | Loading...How magnificent! This is an absolutely goregous picture! It looks just like centaurs should look, in my opinion. Very connected to nature, totally natural, and without human lust. The bride looks so happy, and so do her friends! | |
| 1 Sep 2003 | Lucius Appaloosius | Loading...The fact that they have worked so hard may explain why they seem a little stiff; however, I do agree with your rendition of the human-to-equine transition zone. The "centaurettes" that one often sees generally look too artificial, with impractically tiny waists.... | |
