SciFi and Fantasy Art MAG sub: Endless Rhyme by Christina M. Davis

Yes, yes, another of my attempts to win the MAG. If anyone's really curious, for the most part I'm only entering to try and force myself to improve in the art department. I'd like to say that I'm making progress.

On the picture itself, that hair took me FOREVER to draw and color. I almost think it's TOO detailed, and detracts from the overall piece. Oh well. It looked great as lineart :) One thing that I'm incredibly fond of is her dress, and all those folds. When I drew the lineart I was worried that I'd botch it up (folds aren't exactly my strongest area, especially in color). I was pleasantly surprised, though I do see minor mistakes every here and there. I'm also pleased with how her skin turned out. Very Mucha inspired, no?
