Gideon, the oldest of four, is often referred to as a "hothead" by his younger brother Isaac because of his short temper. What Isaac doesn't realize is that most of the time he's the cause of Gideon's outbursts. Gideon usually calms himself down when he gets angry by talking with Gabriel (his youngest brother), practicing with Ezekial, or even getting back at Isaac with one of his own clever tricks.

As the oldest, he has many responibilities that the others don't and has the most control over his "gifts" . His gifts fit with his firey personality but there are times when even he gets a little over zealous with them and ends up causing damage. Luckily, his brothers are there to help fix his mistakes. He takes his mistakes hard and blames himself for everything bad that happens to his brothers or others.

Unfortunately, his strive to live up to his role as a big brother and the overall blame he feels turns into something that none of his younger brothers deemed possible and causes outcomes that lead to trouble.
