	A more classical angel. Done with gray and white pencil on brown paper. I love the lilies, they are my favorite flowers.

4 May 2003	Greybird	Loading... Such subtle gradations in her feathers, and all in pencil on a -brown- background. This could have looked muddy, but it's entirely the opposite, and I'm pleasantly surprised. She's all curves, down to the hem of her gown, and is hovering beautifully. More flowers in her left hand might have worked better to set off her preoccupied facial expression. Yet I have a feeling this angel left some behind at earlier stops. In other words, there's a story here ... ?
