He's such a cutie! ^^" Cindy Dukino replies: "In fact I was listening to the music from a musical-like play from A Midsummer Nights Dream, which I have on cd, when drawing this. So there could well be some Puckyness in this drawing " | |

| 4 Oct 2006 | Thanna "Woodswatcher" | Loading...Not trying to be a knowitall, but the question was raised so, wordweb (a really informative, cool, downloadable, free dictionary)Satyr is defined: 1) Man with strong sexual desires 2)One of a class of woodland deities; attendant on Bacchus; identified with Roman fauns. Faun is defined Ancient Italian deity in human shape, with horns, pointed ears and a goat's tail; equivalent to Greek satyr. From Wikipedia: However, fauns and satyrs were originally quite different creatures. Both have horns and both resemble goats below the waist, humans above; but originally satyrs had human feet, fauns goatlike hooves. The Romans also had a god named Faunus and a goddess Fauna, who, like the fauns, were goat-people. That's just if you're curious. You could call the picture the race Ziplyquak and nobody should argue. *Turns blue repeating self: ART IS SUBJECTIVE. DO NOT CENSER THE IMAGINATION PEOPLE* | |
