D'you mind if I experiment with similar gills on some seapeople of my own? I just think they're really neat. I like the pose of the red one, but the blue one's far thigh seems a bit short. Maybe a bit of sketching from live models would help with your proportions? Anyway, I like this picture very much, it's quite different.
