I have also tried drawing Hippogriff's and agree that they are indeed hard. Good job!!! Carina īCeLī Larsson replies: "thank you they are hard creatures"

Keep drawing Carina īCeLī Larsson replies: "I donīt like to draw anything that has a stone structure over it, but sometimes it goes great stone is hard to do"

| 7 Jul 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...That's a really nice picture, I'm not kidding! The wings ARE a tad bit short, but the overall drawing is fabulous! The pose is very nice, and the background makes the artwork dramatic. Carina īCeLī Larsson replies: "Yeah I know, like I said in the description I did not think about their size before it was to late. Hehe thanks for your words on the background, have problems to draw a backgrounds when I find them boring and difficult to draw" | |
| 13 Aug 2006 | Krysten | Loading...Im probbaly not right but i just have to say that the hindquaters on the horse part are to small for the head and the tail is akward. Perhaps you could draw it again if you have the time? Quite good though Carina īCeLī Larsson replies: "Yeah the hindqarters are to small for a horse but this is hippogriff I could try to redraw it sometime And about the tail, there are no bones to it as a horsetail. " | |
| 23 Dec 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...The hippogriff is really good, better that any i could ever draw! But, some tips: 1. Hindquarters are too small, but by just a hair. 2. You did excellent on the horse part sitting, but since horses do not naturally sit, it sort of looks awkward to us horse people. 3. The wings are a tad too short, but it still maybe a -- what do you call a baby hippogriff? Anyway, 4. The head is good, and a tad too large for the body, but i love the detail you put into it. 5. The tail looks sort of like a clump of long hairs and does not have the actual tail, the part with the bone & skin & muscle. But it is a really wonderful piece of art, and you obviously put a lot of effort into it. Great job on the detail!!! Carina īCeLī Larsson replies: "yeah there is some problems, I did not use any reference when I was drawing this pic, but thanks for the tips, I will have them in the mind next time I draw one of this critts I love details so it take some times drawing the pictures " | |
| 25 Aug 2007 | Michael A Rasmussen | Loading...Gryphons and hyppogriffs are indeed extremely difficult subjects. It can be very hard to get the anatomy right. But, while some of your hippogriff's proportions are a bit off, your attention to detail is exemplary. I can't say much else besides what others have said, , just keep up the awesome work! | |
