| 8 Aug 2006 | Rhianna Rose Weber | Loading...Hi, thanks for visiting my page! I've made progress on the Eventide that I plan to submit as soon as I'm allowed (Thursday), but I can't say when it'll actually be published (last time it took five days, shoot). I'll let you know when it's up. Just now I read Mother of Tears and The Day God Died; I can't decide which one I like more. The Day God Died was very thought-provoking (especially the parts where you showed everyone's realization), but Mother of Tears had a great rhythm and style to it. -Rhianna Peter F. Blair replies: "Glad to hear that Eventide is moving along. One of these days I'll have to come up with a multi-part story to get people hooked on my page as well.
The tickets can take a while, but I'm finding (note, this is only after 3 tickets have gone through, so my experience is not necessarily the norm) that they go faster than they say they'll go (yay mods!).
Between the two, I prefer Mother of Tears personally. Glad to hear that you liked both though! Thanks for stopping by!"

You're sooo OLD...;-D Nice to see another adult in the woods. *waves happily* All these young kids make me want to sit in my rocking chair and move my false teeth around. 'Course, I'd need a rocking chair and false teeth first, but seriously, I'm considering it... This is a very random comment. This is what happens when I stop by random people's pages. I'll go read now...*slinks off* Peter F. Blair replies: "Not only married, but seven years married with kids! (Its a wonder that people can get past one year in this society...)
Be careful what you say, you're making me feel old on account of my rickety rocking chair.
Random comments are just as welcome as the [insert adjective here to oppose whichever definition of random you chose] ones. ^_^"
| 15 Aug 2006 | Rhianna Rose Weber | Loading...Woohoo! Just read Wolf's Defense and The Dragon's New Diet... it's great to get a glimpse of your more humorous writing. Seems you're just as good at writing comedy as tragedy. It'd be neat to see them together in one of your stories...but you've probably already done that so I'll just be quiet now. I just posted some new stuff up, so stop by if you get the chance! -Rhianna Peter F. Blair replies: "I'd be curious to hear what you thought of the tragedies. I have yet to produce something which mixes yin and yang, so to speak. You got my brain working on it though, let's see what I can produce (this may just force me to put out something bigger, we'll have to see...)." | |
| 15 Aug 2006 | Sara A. Chow | Loading...Well... of the three stories I've read, I like your work. I think that's because from what I've read, it's a nice contrast to the heavy, chaptered stuff I've been (trying) to write as of late. *sigh*... I'm hoping it's a phase. Yes, yes. I quite liked both versions of "The Dragon's New Diet" and "Wolf's Defense"... I hope those were correct titles. I'll try and make it back sometime soon to continue reading! HAND! Peter F. Blair replies: "I wish I could get up some 'heavy, chaptered stuff'! I keep poking and prodding at the larger stuff I'm working on, but I'm never satisfied enough to put it up...
Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to future visits. Maybe you'll make the mistake of stumbling on one of my more serious short works and I'll depress you... y'know... NAIL (Not All Is Light)."

When I'm called a mature writer, people are just trying to be polite. Peter F. Blair replies: "I mis-read the first time I saw this. I was wondering how someone only a year older than me could be a grandmother! Its no wonder editing intimidates me; I can't even read... Be glad they're polite. Anonymity can breed some pretty nasty behaviour."
| 14 Sep 2006 | Seth J Borer | Loading...Your comment on "The Perfect Villian" said you liked the Slug, so I posted the next in the story. It's a bit strange, but its up. Thought you might be interested. Peter F. Blair replies: "I'll get to it, really I will! Time seems to be running away from me of late...
I appreciate the update."
| 7 Oct 2006 | J. E. Schroeder | Loading...Hello! I just hurried over from the HP page and your "Do not read" post... looks like you've got lots to choose from here! I'll read up and offer some of that addictive feedback asap ^_^ Have a great weekend! Peter F. Blair replies: "It's a 'good' addiction, I suppose. Looking forward to having you fuel it!
What I need to do is find a way to flag my page as 'Do Not Read' and set a guard troll on it; that'd really get things going. ^_^ "
| 20 Oct 2006 | Steve Doyle | Loading...Hi, Peter! I see Trish and Angela have already stopped by here. I should have mentioned this on the group site: The recorded version of "I Am My Brother's Keeper" is available here: http://www.doylebooks.com/iambrotherskeeper.html Click on the icon and it will take you to ohshare.com. Once there, click "download file." It's pretty short so should only take a few minutes. I'm glad you like the story. I often strive to get the most effectiveness I can out of as few words as possible. (Leftover habit from writing poetry, perhaps?) I'll swing by here at some point to read a bit... Peter F. Blair replies: "Had a chance to give it a listen. It's really nice to be able to hear a work read by the author! Looking forward to more..." | |
| 26 Mar 2008 | Angela Perry | Loading...You need a comment! I’ve been remiss in my commenting. *hangs head* What would you like me to read? Anything particular?
Oh, and before I forget...*open floodgates* You mentioned you needed water, so I took the liberty of redirecting the Elfwood river through your shelf ;-)
