I'll be finishing high school soon and I was curious to know what it takes to get into an art school. I know you have to have a portfolio and I do but I feel its not like other's because I don't have very many huge pieces. Most of my work is 8 X 11. I noticed you did cartooning and so do I. I was worried that most art colleges would only accept those with more realistic drawings. I'd love if you could e-mail me or respond here on your page to my question. Thank you. Celeste marie sarah Klyne replies: "Oh, no problem.. Well, first you should find an art school you wish to go too. Many art schools have different things they look for in a porfolio. Then you'll be able to know what you need. But I will tell you that many art schools like to see if you can use many different medium. So do some art in a bunch of things (graphite, oil, water color, colored pencils) That's all I can tell you for now. I hope it helps. ^_^" | |
