Tag As FavoriteComment		As the title suggests, these young mermen appear to be real showoffs. They were done in an art trade. Jessica designed them very well, and quite inventively, but there are plenty of my own additions. Gosh did their tiny scales take a long time! Unfortunately their scales and lighting were much more noticeable in the original. So sad. But I am happy how active the pose turned out.

I just had to throw in a mermaid to spice things up. This gal happens to be one of my original characters. She’s got the most puzzled look on her face after catching a glimpse of these two, yet is curious enough to stick around... It’s hilarious.

Wow! I just noticed... the mermaid has a vertical tailfin! Like fish have. Most merpeople seem to have horizontal tailfins like the blue guy in the foreground (who looks amazig ^__^) I was wondering about that a lot while going through your gallery, becouse you also have whale-people and they have horizontal tailfins of corse, like whales. But fish-like merpeople could have either horizontal OR vertical tailfins, becouse they are a mix of mammal and fish. Hmmmmmm, did that make sense?
Anyway, it's a reaaally great picture! Like it a lot! And the rest of your gallery is also great 19)
