This looks lovely; I love the dragon on the side. I don't know chinese either though. Yet because the scroll bends and all, I would make the text bend with it, not just straight, so it flows better.

Agreed, the text should curve along the surface of the paper. I'm also curious why such a Western dragon would be on a Chinese scroll. It is well drawn, however, as is the rest of the scroll and the lettering. Nice work.

On the last comment... yup tis a western drake acually, as it has no legs, though thats beside the point.. an eastern dragon doesn't have wings

An Eastern dragon is commonly depicted as holding a round orb as well. I think. Correct me if I’m wrong.
