| 16 Apr 2004 | Myranda Smet | Loading...Nice work H. Cunningham how long do you do this? H. R. D. Cunningham replies: "Actually I've been seriously drawing since about fourth our fifth grade (as in saying I wanted to be an illustrator, actively trying to improve, ect), so that would be 4-3 years. Most pictures take me about thirty minutes to draw and about that long to color. Thanks for stopping by!" | |

| 12 May 2004 | Michael James Liljenberg | Loading...Thanks for dropping by my gallery. You look like you've got a pretty good start. Keep practicing at drawing anatomy. I would suggest the "Figure Drawing" tutorial by William Li on the FARP pages. There's also some good ones at www.polykarbon.com. I like that, most of the time, that you work at drawing hands. When I was 14, I always went to great lengths to avoid drawing hands. Of course Fred Gallagher has a lot of trouble with hands too. H. R. D. Cunningham replies: "Ah, yes, Polykarbon is generally your friend! Thank you for the constructive comments! ^>^ Being compared to Fred-rin always makes my day... I used to stick hands in every possible pocket or just put them behind backs, but these days I figure I ought to learn to do it, since I'm considering art as a career... ANYWAY, thank you for stopping by and commenting!" | |
