The Lonliness of Lindas Life followed her like a small Curse on that Holloween night. She Slowly walked with her Cane, the extra support that kept her from tumbling over, Keeping her alive.Old brittle thoughts began to aimlessly run around in Lindas head. I wish I go run around screaming trick or treat But even her own Conscious was against her tonight If you did that they would threw you in the asilum She nodded to herself grimly. "I wish I could just...Fly away" Said the frail old woman. Her Child and Husband had both passed away. Nobody knew she even lived, So nobody took care of her, or even loved her. Soft tears rolled down her wrinkled face, but she kept on walking. Linda saw the children running around her, laughing and having a good time. She could not but feel heavy envy of them and thier joy and love for life. As linda Walked down a dark and now deserted street, she looked up at the sky. The Stars were glorious and vibrant. "Oh My.." she whispered as it seemed a star was moving closer and closer towards her.  Slowly, it floated down and landed in front of her. There, Sitting on an old wooden Broomstick, was a Child in a Witches Costume. Linda Walked closer, and as she did so, She noticed that it wasnt a child at all, but an old Stout woman of her own age. Her Costume was elaborately decorated. Black Velvet Covered her with Diamonds and Sapphires, ruby's and Pearl's. It glittered in the most faint of light. The Other Woman Smiled and Linda found herself Grinning as Well. A Sudden Flutter of Exciment Filled linda's Heart. As she watched the Witches eyes, She knew that they were calling her to come. She Slowly began walking to the Witch. Linda then Tossed her wooden cane into the Road and began running with newfound energy towards her. She Climbed onto the broom with the grace and simplicity of a child. Her Frail hands, wich had become much stronger, grasped the broom. The woman in front leaned forward, and they shot upwards. Sailing over the city, She heard the children below Laughing, but then linda reailized, that it was her own laugh that echoed through the skies. They Flew towards the moon. Sailing around it, linda reached out and grabbed herself a hand full of its rich delicious cheese. They Rocketed back down to earth and flew through the Amazon River and its related jungles. The Woman in front steered the broom with the acuracy that a Pilot himself would Envy. The Raced along the Shores of all seven of the earths Seas. Feeling the Salty air on her face, Linda gigled with delight as they flew with wild white horses whose fluffy wings tickled her nose. They Raced witht he Angles in the Fairy groves. The Spicy smell of Cinimon Fill her Sences as they passed a massive gingerbread house. The Witch took Linda through the redwood Forrest where the Deer ran alongsides them, leaping over the fallen trees and high fences with ease. Then Linda pointed towards the heavens and the Shot upwards, through the trees canopy. Flying through the Stars, linda reached out and grabbed one. Feelings it energy race through her body she popped it into her mouth. It Zapped and Tickled her tounge as its sweetness ran through her body. Linda then threw both of her hands out and screamed with joy. They Flew onward untill they reached a Golden Gate that shone brighter than the Sun. The Warmth enveloped her and Linda wished that it would never end. Meanwhile, Back on earth, Ambulance attendant Picked up the lifeless body of a frail old woman whose wooden cane had been tossed Carelessly into the road of a Dark and Deserted street.

Sad ending, and lots of spelling errors, but the beautifully written story makes up for that. Very well done.

OMG i cnt believe only 1 comenter!!! this is a very good story but sometimes it was hard to tell what you were going for, the whole moon-cheese thing is rather comic, but the ending is so sad i thought you could have milked it a bit more, used more emotional descriptive words to really make it a bittersweet ending!!!
Spellin mistakes dnt matter, we all no what u mean n every1 makes em.
Overall a very very very good story!!!!!
Keep it up.
