That was the biggest art-block I've ever suffered through! Pity it was during summer. : (

"Fire and water don't often get along, but when they do love, they love passionately." Or something like that. x_x A friend hasn't returned Inkspell so I don't know the actual quote. But it's much more cool than that.

Anywho, Farid and Meggie from the awesome book Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. Meggie isn't really associated as water, but when Dustfinger mentioned the whole fire/water thing, this came to mind. :3

And they're just so adorable together . .

And I love Farid.  And am not ashamed.

This is really a very good picture indeed. I like the movement, the flow of the curling lines, and the movement of her dress is excellently done.
