"Nidora" by Michelle M Martin

This is just a picture I drew because I wanted to play with spiderwebs and the like so I invented Nidora - The Web Keeper.  There is a story behind her, and hopefully I'll get it up here..   Here is a snippet of it:

...and because she knew that one day the time would come again.  They would need her once again.  Those that had shunned and scorned her, would one day beg her for fogiveness and ask for her help.  The power and wisdom in her that came from mankind would soon be completely replaced by the new power and wisdom of the keepers of the webs.  It was a lonely and harsh duty, but it was one she would proudly accept.  For there always must be a Web Keeper.  If ever she should fail, the consequences would be severe....
