I think it can be very hard to put your writing out there for all to see, and then get some constructive crit., when you’re not used to it. But grammar is important in a story! We writers are all going to face some harsh comments, but there’ll always be some people who like it anyway!
Phew! What a rant! | |

Your question I can not answer well, for I never tried writing humorous, but I think it can be able, if the talents are given. I am glad to read, that you like my little works. Greetings out of Old Europe from Jochen.

The first of this friendly figures were drawn by me since approximately 1950. And have never pulished them till I was able to use Elfwood. Please, look on my age and you can see, when I was young their was no Tumnus. But I was glad about this friendly satyr-figure, the first one of this kind in literature as I know. Greetings from Jochen.

Till now I took my pencil and draw, for I was not able to find the right words and texts. Look at my pic "Bilder erzählen ...". I hope, I can soon find time enough to read your works as shown in Elfwood. I am very interested! Jochen.

The declarations for the antique SILENOS which you found are correct. There from I took the idea to use the name SILENI and the idea to combine human and equine forms of their bodys. But I changed their characters as you can see in friendly beings. I see the Sileni peacable and peaceloving. Remember: Horses only in danger will be aggressiv. But humans? - For today Good bye! Jochen.
