Fawn: Right action is to refrain from violence.
Christopher shrugs, "What if one was being violent to stop violence?"
Fawn: Or being violent to stop violence to stop violence?

Fawn:

The Battle for Peace

Once upon a time there was a great warrior who deciced violence was evil. So he raised a great army to conqour all the world and stop the violence. Naturally everyone resisted, and fought back, killing many of his soldiers and causing great grief and pain and suffering. So he punished those tribes and killed all the males and enslaved all the females.

But instead of teaching his enemies a lesson it just made them mad, and more and more tribes started fighting him and resisting his domination to end violence. So he recruited more men and the war got bigger and bigger.

A great hero arose on the enemy side and he united the tribes and created a massive army, trained and disciplined in the ways of violence and death. An almighty battle ensued and thousands and thousands were killed and the sky was black with carrion crows

The warlord was defeated and his body was hung on a pole as an example.

The hero and his army went on to conqour all his lands and impose peace. Naturally they met resistance which they crushed mercilessly, raping and killing and enslaving in the name of peace and order.

The warlord's tribe kenw that they would be punished especially harshly since they had brought forth the source of this violence. So they all fled to a hidden valley in the mountains. The warlord's grandson grew up to be a great warrior, and in secret in the hidden valley he trained a great army of tribesmen to go forth and seek vengeance on the enemies of peace.

At last the day came and the hidden army led by the Peaceful Warlord's grandson poured forth from the hidden valley and errupted over the plains, raping and killing and enslaving and torturing in the name of peace...

There is no end to this story, it goes on to this day. Violence breeds violence, killing breeds killing. You must get off the road of violence. Have mercy! Have compassion!

Be blessed with Peace.
