An elf and a unicorn in a deep, dark forest. OK, if its deep and dark, where is the light coming from? Ergh, don't ask.

Of course, if they just were in a deep, dark forest without light, you wouldn't get to see much. Meh, anyways, done with pencil on drawing paper and resized in Corel Photopaint.

This reminds me of the sadness one gets from having to go back to the ordinary world after an adventure. Good pencil-work here.

I have a solution to the "Deep and dark problem": Elf vision. Or if you are a human, night vision goggles.

Great pencil work, I must say. You only put in the shading where it is necessary. Very easy on one's eyes.

This is very beautiful. You did a great job on the Unicorn and the Elf. Your shading is good too. By the way, I got things worked out with Elfwood and I have 19 new drawings in my gallery if you want to have a look. ;o)

the overall feel is really nice, but his right arm is a little off. Perhaps drawing a light stick frame of how you the guy to pose then adding "flesh" around it would help in future?

if i can just sneek a little of Tolkien's influence here...he said that the elves had a sort of inner light within them, and so in the night they appeared to glow...just summat i thought would help solve your problem...and the unicorn, well, that can glow too!!!
