This is my first scanned and digitally colored piece. I know I'm lazy with the wings, maybe when I have time on my hands I'll fix them. =P Perhaps a little bit of bio on Nightning would be needed. Let's just say he's an 'invisible friend' of mine. And it's from him where my online screen name comes from. ^^ Pencil outline & background scanned then colored with photoshop.

Beautiful! I have to say, I'm incredibly bad at horses/horselike being myself, so this really stunned me. I love the detail in the musculature especially. Keep up the great work! 2

I like him, he's a lot like the unicorns and the dark Pegusus creatures I usually find myself drawing. Nice work. It really feels like he is moving and that isn't an easy thing to capture on paper... or computer screen... Keep practicing!! And thank's for visiting my gallery!!!

:-) Cheryl Chung replies: "Thank YOU for visiting mine ^^"

I love the colors!Very striking!

:-) Cheryl Chung replies: "Thankz for visiting! I'm glad you like this, but it still needs tons of work. And I need tons of practice ^^"

I like this one. I think I like this one the best of all in your gallery right now. The background is interesting. I like how you colored it, where the light hits. Good job, and thanks for stopping by my gallery! =}

Great pic, especially since you're new to computer coloring. At this rate, we can expect great things from you. I'm a self-taught comp. artist too, so you really find out that it's a trail and error, learn-from-your-mistakes process. In the future, you might want to experiment with highlighting the outlines of the face and body of Nightning, (with blue, silver or white.. those colors show up best) and especially if your going to have a section set against an equally dark back ground, like where his face is infront of his wing. That's just me babbling, keep up the good work!

:-) Cheryl Chung replies: "Thankz for dropping by. Yeah I'm currently playing around with color and just the airbrush tool to see how much I can do with them. Nighting was originally colored just by itself and then I added the background on. So the highlights are in pure gray... hmmmm I might rework it if I have time, but I'm so busy nowadays at school. We'll see ^^"

I like the pose and the detail in the face. Somthing about the back leg looks a bit odd, But otherwise a verry nice Unisus indeed. keep up the good work

:-) Cheryl Chung replies: "Yeah, after looking at it for a while the back legs does look a bit strange. Oh well! I don't have the time to fix it. Thankz for commenting."

Pretty, I especially like the colors on teh ground. Nice pegasus.

:-) Cheryl Chung replies: "The colors were suppose to be flowers covering the ground. I had fun painting on those with my mouse. Thankz for commenting! ^^"

I like the coloring, but there's a problem with the pose: He would have to have his head lower to kick up his heels like that. Horses can't buck unless they have their heads lowered between their fore legs. Otherwise very nice picture!

:-) Cheryl Chung replies: "Yeah... the leg should probably be more underneath him instead. He's not really bucking... just coming in for a landing. ^^ Wings would probably be folding if he is bucking, less air resistance. ;-)"
