Here's a Sea Folk ship under sail. The funky glow in the sky is the result of the WindFinder channelling threads of Wind (see tSR). This image is my first and only one that integrates 3D Studio MAX and Bryce. Normally I don't use Bryce cause I feel it has less control, but here it was great for the sky and water. A little filter in Photoshop created the 'painting' look.

Oh cool effects. It looks like you're looking through bumpy glass, or perhaps it's really rainy outside. Beautiful colors too, especially on the clouds.

This has a nice feel to it. I kind of wish the ship had some clearer definition but then it could be the storm effect? Anyway great job with the sky and the lighting from it.

looks kinda like i'm looking through ripple glass at it... maybe if the scale of that was a little less fine that might be an interesting effect too...

I'm not sure I like that filter. It looks nice on the sky but down below...I keep trying to wipe my screen off! Maybe if it was toned down some..

Isn´t the Sea Folk vessel supposed to be a sleek vessel, otherwise I think it´s a good picture.

Cool effect, but if that is saposed to be a raker, I dont think that it is sleek enough.

I think a thumbnail of it looks much better than the enlargened version. When it is smaller, you really don't notice the bumpy effects, and the funky glow in the sky looks like a beautiful moon, and the ship looks somewhat sleeker.

When I first looked at this, I saw two faces in the clouds. Whether that was on purpose or not, I like it.

It would be more complete if you applied the glass filter to only the sky... It would accent that the threads affect the wind. Good colors...
