Something more action-orientated for a change now. If any of you know something about aeronautic would notice it's pretty difficult to fly any helicopter-like vehicle at high altitude.

Why are fans inbedded into the wings to populuar? I meen i dont recal ever seeing an aircraft with that configuration. Ehh....what do I know im only 13....

But umm.. It's cool howthat chick is under the fan and is un effected. And that guy leaning out to grab her is crazy....

WOOOOOT.. still better then anything i can draw.. **does belated first comment dance*** (>'.')>

:-) H. Ching replies: "You mean ducted fans? They're everywhere! Hovercraft, helicopters, planes, airships ... You can argue turbofans are just ducted fans driven by a turbine. Ducted fans buried statically in wings like that are rare I guess. More often they're used for forward propulsion. The running girl is actually in front of the fan as opposed to under it if you look closely. "

Why doesn't she get closer to the guy? O.o Just wondering, it seems she has room to move and he doesn't. Not that I'm being a critic or anything. I sincerely like it.

16 H. Ching replies: "Maybe it's really hard to coordinate the movements when she, the copter, and the train are all moving at high speed?"

I'd just like to say that I for one, truely respect your eye for realism. The reto-turbines are a beautiful twist off of the traditional helocopter and i for one live that figher-like quality of that helo style=)

Keep it up!

16 H. Ching replies: "I had gunship in mind. Thanks!"

I can imagine that it would be even harder to fly a VTOL when you only have one hand on the stick 1. A very nice job.

16 H. Ching replies: "Hehehe! I think any VTOL is inherently unstable."

About your first comments, helos do not have built in fans, they have single or double turboshaft engines and rotary wings. Secondly, how is that a gunship? Is it a helicopter or just a random vehicle? And it aerodynamically doesn't make sense.

Anyway......Great drawing!

I can see a bit of the Hind Gunship chopper and the weapons system of the Appache. Great work I like it your pencil work is very good.

Why do you turn the Mil Mi-24 Hind into a jet?
