I'm afraid I am none to fond of starlings. Every year they migrate in huge flocks to where I live! And such a great mass of birds creates a great amount of...waste...all over the place! On the cars, on the houses, EVERYWHERE!!!!! Not to mention I'm constantly ducking in fear of getting bombarded with...waste...whenever the flock comes 'round! SHEESH!!

It's a lovely picture. Great use of color. But to be constructive, theface is a bit flat. The forehead and chin should not meet in a straight line. I love the birds. Last time I saw a starling around here, though, was when a lion actually caught one in mid-air at the zoo.

My mother would grumble
"Those birds are a curse
They’re a thorn in the farmers" side
But I couldn’t help feeling sad and inspired
By their desperate ballet in the sky

A hot, dry wind beats their ragged wings
Have a thought for the starlings
No one ever listens to the songs they sing

Leave some crumbs for the starlings

Anyhow, cool picture you’ve got here. I like how they billow out behind her like a sort of cape or train.
