Standing at the watch tower of the Northern Sanagisian Sea, Chrishankhah watches serenely, seemingly mortal and young as ever. Her intent, to lure the dark lustful thief at a distance, whose intents to take advantage of her innocence will quaintly fall assunder to her vampiric kiss, and he will be no more. Even the most cunning of hunters will in their mortality become the hunted when the day ceases to the night.

very nice, i like the way you've done the coloring and shading, especially the shoulders and arms. the fingers on the right hand need a bit of adjustment, but the ones on the left are nicely done. I like the colors, how the pale skin stands out against the dark of the night.

:-) Heather R. Davis replies: "The fingers are at an odd angle, as the hand is drawn back. The picture's proportions are't fantastic; Her head is too large for the body. It represents her character pretty well in any event. Soon I will upload a portrait which portrays Chrish exactly as i Imagine her. Thank you for the comment!"

oh my,
I love the gown she is wearing, the deep blue blended with the black is so well done. Extreemly pleasing to the eye.

12 Heather R. Davis replies: "I think Chrishankhah likes blue. I'd say blue and silver are her favourite colours. That she is pleasing to the eye is what makes her so deadly.. *grin*"

Very nice, the sky is very cool. You are such a talented artist, I envy you in your skill in coloring on the computer. I can't..... (sob)

:-) Heather R. Davis replies: "*Pets* You'll learn, just try it a bit! 1 I admire your comments because you're such a good artist yourself. Thank you so much TZR ^_^"

That chick looks familiar 21 .... Um anyways ^_^;
She fits very nicely together with the background. The background is very nice too, very mystical. ^_^

:-) Heather R. Davis replies: "Grin. I need not say why, only that she will continue to look familliar because I favour her so much! Thanks for the comment Rockie ^_^ *Licks*"

Oh god!! This is my favorite picture of yours!!! It's absolutely amazing. How did you ever learn to create such beautiful pictures?

~Maya

:-) Heather R. Davis replies: "It's one of my favourites of my work as well, but unfortunately I did not capture her as I wished to. :-( (A portrait which does will come soon.) I've taught myself to draw and use photoshop 1 Like anyone, I've always enjoyed art class in school and now take art as one of my high school electives. Thank you for the comment!"

This is probably the best Chrish artwork you've done, in my opinion. I absolutely love it! 1 Keep up the good work! 1

1 Heather R. Davis replies: "Grin. But what about that portrait that I have to put up?! I'm so proud of it! I can't wait to get it up on elfwood. I think it's my best of her, personally. Each to his own! ;-) Thanks, Eric."

I love this one! A couple of things to point out, though. The hands look good, but they're a little small for her body. Also, her head is a little wide from the back to the forehead. Other than that, whoa! Great coloring, great everything!

2 Heather R. Davis replies: "Hands are a problem to me. Just when I thought I was getting them right in aspect of appearance, I see them getting small. Then I try to make excuses like, 'Oh, well they're just..Um.. Behind her! In the distance!" In truth, I just mess up and don't want to admit it. As for her big head, I was trying to avoid making it too small and overdid it. A lot of people tend to make human heads much too narrow and forget that they have to give their person a brain. I'm learning, though! I'm proud of the colouring job I did with this picture. The sketch it came from wasn't great to begin with (and had no model reference to go by), thus the akward proportioning, but the colouring makes up for it at least a little. 1 Thanks for the comment! Ahh, I do lover her outfit and her eyes, she has gorgeous eyes. Her shoulders should be sloped just a bit, females shoulders follow a slight incline, and also, to keep the proportions up, lengthen her arm just a bit,the fingers should brush just a bit below halfway down the thigh. But again, I'm liking the outfit and i hope this helps somewhat... ^^

2 Heather R. Davis replies: "*Chuckle* Yes, as I mentioned above, this picture is very akward proportion-wise, because it was drawn without visual aid. I've always known that arms should be longer than I want to make them, and I always mess this up. As shoulders go, I think I knew that and forgot it, or thought up some mental excuse at the time as to why it was like that! *Grin* Thank you for the suggestions; I'll keep them in mind if I should ever try another un-referenced picture. (I'm learning that it's much easier when I have a model to look at, so I can be sure my proportions are correct.) Perhaps that's the way I should go for now, and gradually pull away from it as I get better. I love designing outfits for my characters, and perhaps when I get some time I'll design something quite intriquite. I have a rather vivid wardrobe however, and some of the strangest designs for my characters' clothing is inspired by garb that I actually put together. Again, thanks much for the tips and comment!"

I like the background on this one. As one of your fellow artist has pointed out her hands are little small and I think her arms look a little short. Then again, it could be a glare on my computer screen. Anyhow, I really like how the colors compliment each other. Really well done.
