The sun sets past the horizon on the great Scottish Isle of Skye. There stands the druid, Lupus MacQueen, focusing his powers on nature as his lupine companion, Duncan, gazes out at sea and his spirit hawk, named 'Skye' for the isle, flies over head.
Lupus' true form is a wolf, but he is the reincarnate of a celtic warrior, Creag MacShuibbne. In his human form, he takes on the physical aspects of that warrior. In his true form, he is is a mighty white wolf whose speed and strength is superior to normal beasts. In both forms, he harnesses a great power of nature, the ancient celtic magicks of the great Druids.

Lupus' druidic powers are mighty, but they nature-driven. He derives his life essense from nature, but grows weak where the modern city replaces the thick forest where he makes his home. He can only survive outside of his forest retreat for a short period of time, and his powers will gradually diminish until he can return.
