| 24 Oct 2005 | Christopher 'Topher' Allen Shepard | Thanks Igino for your concern my friend. Obviously, I live, but I have been traumatized by Wilma. For the last 5 hours I have been huddled in a laundry mat, the only strructure nearby with concrete walls, weathering this monster of a storm. It's not over yet, the rear end of the hurricane is more powerful, and is producing freakish effects as it combines violently with an exreme cold front from the North West. Blech, I am low on sleep, nauseas, I think I want to leave Florida after this. But otherwise, I'm doing ok. LOL. Again, thanks for your concern my folleague in art. As always, I hope you are doing well also. By for now. | |
| 2 Nov 2005 | Christopher 'Topher' Allen Shepard | Well, Florida's Hurricane Wilma is all gone now, obviously I survived. I am back in college now, just my little old local community college, not a real and dedicated art college like I dream of attending one day, but its better than nothing. Otherwise, life is back to normal, the struggle to meet those bills is once again my main priority. I can't help but see myself as being like one of those poor schmucks plugged into the Matrix. Its like we're all born to work and feed some unseen government machine, we are the "engine" that keeps it running, and whoever is in contrrol of that hidden government lives off of our hard work like parasites. Still, I can't help but envy my oppressors, the ones who engineered the system that we live in, because I feel that they must enjoy true freedom. Imagine not being restricted by financial burdens of any kind and having the freedom to go anywhere, do anything, buy anything, have anything you want or need, what a liberating feeling that must be. I can only dream of it. Farewell for now. | |
| 5 Nov 2005 | Chloe Lytle | Sorry about the hurricane, what a rare experience. Or at least it used to be before this weird repeat attack of nature happened. Also sorry about the system, Im still young, ignorant and living off my parents dollar, so I dont fully understand. Yet. Anyhoo your a very good artist, Im dont think you would need a fancy art school, your good on your own! If it makes you feel better, I apparently did a portrait of your head being held by a dragon!...Did I forget to mention I like your bio pic? | |
| 17 Nov 2005 | James Carl McKnight | Hey-reading your bio is like having a flashback for me! I mean, your deep involvement with comic books and its effect on your drawing style and all that. You have a wicked cool gallery and I'm impressed with many of your pieces. Great job and keep updating! | |

| 24 Feb 2007 | Unaussprechliche Kultist | Hmm. That self-portrait of yours looks an awful lot like a self-portrait of Virgil Finlay I once saw. Coincidence? or merely chance? | |
| 31 Mar 2008 | Aaron Weaver | How goes things? Do you know they are taking applications for Southern Barbarians? Have to like sweet tea though. | |
