I thought it would be cool to turn her into a fantasy creature.
Note: This was completely 'hand drawn', there was absolutely no tracing involved.

You really have an amazing talent for charcoal! I love this picture. I esspecially like how it looks as if her hair was frozen in time as in a photograph...sometimes people try to achieve this and it looks very stiff....but you really do it so well!!!

I love the way she's got her gaze fixed on you - not quite sure whether it's an "I'm going to hurt you!" gaze or not! Wonderful shading, the persepective of this is great, and I love the way she seems to "glow", added with the fact her hairs blowing about it, it looks likes theres some real "energy" coming from the inside of the picture. Very nice 2
