Hey I think you are better in drawing weapons than people.. Because it looks so real, I meant the weapons. I am also trying to give my weapons a closer view.. But I discovered that I give it too many details.. You will see that soon in my gallery. But the one that doesn't try, does not reach the top.. Hmzz maybe I should learn how to translate sayings..12

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "Yep, that sometimes causes me trouble, too 12.
Thanks for the comment, I'll stop by at your gallery soon."

Hey! I like your style, I really like your drawings, especially the Group Picture. Their poses all look very natural and relaxed, even though the pictures aren't too realistic. Keep it up!

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "Thanks!"

I like your style. Your swords are beautiful and looks so good- i especially like the way that you put both the pencil and coloured versions together. Yeah your waists are a little thin- but we can all dream- and they are goddess after all- i hope you dont mind i had a bit of a go at a flamer on one of your pictures- it just wasnt nice of him/her!!

*anyway have a pie*

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "Thanks. Yep, my gods don't get much chance for running to fat. Being divine is a very strenuous activity. And I've got absolutely no problem with you taking on this litte brat (I suppose him to be). Always nice to have some support 12"

Im going to give you my honest opinion. You have some talent, but for a guy in college I just dont feel that you are at the drawing level a person your age usually is. Thats not a bad thing, but you are going to need some extra figure studies and a lot of practice sketches to catch up. I suggest you go ahead and do a study specifically on hands, human upper body proportion, cloth folds, and hair. You are ahead of most people when it comes to weapon design, and you have some beautiful works, but if you are going to improve the realistic effect of your weapons, you need to understand how they fit a person, so do a few sketches of people holding swords to get a feel for effective shapes. Keep trying!

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "Thanks for your honest opinion. As I stated in my bio I'm just doing this for fun, not on a professional or too serious basis, so I’m perfectly fine with your notion and totally aware of this fact myself. If I had more time, I’d opt to follow your advice and turn those sketches in more realistic pictures, but until this happens, I’ll stick to my “not too realistic - slightly simplified - comic resembling”- style. Besides, some of these pictures were drawn in my pre-college-time (just as explanation, not as an “excuse”, of course 12 ). Nevertheless thanks for stopping by and commenting."

in responce to the last guy and your responce, if you want to work with comic-ish anatomy, buy a comic and trace it until you draw like that... it doesn't actually take long, although it'll incline you to busty females with no waist and lots of hip. And it actually helps.
You don't need real things to develope a sence of shape - Mine comes from my friend's doodles and too many disney films.

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "It's not that I really want to work with comic-ish style or anatomy. My point was that my drawings are just far from being “photorealistic” and I can live with that. Nevertheless thanks for the advice...and the comment, of course. ;-)"

Hmm trying to decide which is my favorite one out of them all, and it is tough because all of them are so good. I will have to go with either the dagger set or the mage blade. Very very nice designs.

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "Thanks a lot ^^"

I very much admire your drawings of daggers and various weapons - the blades look razor sharp, weighty and lethal and the variety of hilt designs shows vivid imagination (as do your wonderfully descriptive stories) - my next upload includes my first ever dagger drawing, and I would appreciate your critique of it - maXine 1

:-) Christian Kindler replies: "Thanks a lot! Glad you like my weapons & stories ^^ Oh, me as a critic, well, just drop me a line when the update is done and I'll do my best ; )"
