| 3 Jan 2004 | Chris 'Kraden' McKenna | Loading...Hmmmm...some people have at least one reaper type picture in their gallery and I'm glad to say that your one of them as this is pretty good. The folds of cloth are well done and the weighty folds on the chest are realistic in the way cloaks go. The belt is nice and the pose is placed well and quite formidable. I like the colors for the head as most people would go for a grey or dead type of color. The scythe is good and I'm glad you put in the line for the sharpened area. Koodos on the background as it looks quite dark and spooky, you might like to try a eraser mist effect if you ever do a spooky scene in pencil. Just get your eraser after you've smudged and shaded the whole picture (including blank background areas) and then erase in thin wisps and tendrils around the page to create a mist like effect It's good to see some more color pictures around though as prisma colors are wax based some smudging goes a long way. I'm not sure where the prismas were used but keep it in mind. Keep up the great work. Christopher R. Yost replies: "Well thank you for the flattering comment Kraden.Vandal is a character I like very much, especially since he seems more "colorful" than most reaper-style characters.Thank you again!" | |
