Bahamut isn't suppose to be demon, this 'pure demon' form is when he allows himself to be changed into a demon so instead of the power corrupting him, the change almost elevates him.

Even though the anatomy is off in this, I really like how it turned out. I really had fun working on, playing around with some things and ideas. Those marking on him are meant to be scars, a bit of a longer story behind those. I'm not sure if I like the tail puff though, it was an idea I tries out, and though it looks good, don't know I like it. The wings were also a weird idea, since the original sketch didn't show the wings due to the obvious fact they would hid the body, I decided to try something to show them while not hiding the whole picture.

Photoshop CS.
