  | Okay, I won't try to deny it, this one is just strange. The number in the name came from the fact that by the time I was done manipulating this in Photoshop, it was so radically different from my initial concept that I felt compelled to note the 'upgrade' in the title. My 'initial concept,' by the way, was for it to be just a regular old angel hovering at the ready somewhere (possibly in the clouds). Instead I got to playing around with his outline after a layering, one idea added itself to another, and...this is the result. Ballpoint pen on sketch paper, colored and manipulated in Adobe Photoshop 5.0 Limited Edition; so no one yells at me about it, yes, I did use a filter to achieve the background effect, although there's no way in the program to do that directly. |
