SciFi and Fantasy Art R´daian Head by Lucas J. Cifranic

Like practically all my uploaded works, this started as a simple line drawing, which just goes to show you how much I'm loving the ability to scan in my picture now that I finally got a scanner. This is a R'daian, or reptile-folk. The R'daiana are a species/race in an RPG I'm developing, and are the eldest of all physical races excluding Dragons (although there are theories that R'daiana and Dragons share a common ancestor). They tend to be neutral in their dealings with other beings. Maybe one day I'll say more about them (I do have more), but for now I'll just let you enjoy the pretty picture. Ballpoint pen on sketch paper, colorized and manipulated in Adobe Photoshop 5.0 Limited Edition; so it doesn't eat at my conscience, the scale effects and the sandpaper look to the background were done with filters, not my own hand. Dedicated to my late pet iguana, Zak. (been over a year now, but I find it fitting...)
