I had this dream ages ago about the gods and goddesses of 4 creatures. The dog goddess was one of them but she had silver hair in the dream...silver was just too much for my minimal photoshop skills. But this has a background of sorts. Progress! Dig the chunkiness. Ballpoint pen and Photoshop 7.

I really love her pose and face, she looks very goddess-ish =) Only thing that bugs me is her upper-arm, it looks a bit too thin.
Apart from that, great job! The background is nice too, simple yet elegant.

:-) Christine E. King replies: "Thankee for commenting ^_^ The upper-arm is kinda thin, it was probably just a style thing, I like drawing things with large forearms sometimes...weird but true. The background was a spontaneous after-thought which I'm glad u like. It's really just a squiggle and a gradient fill..hee."

Wow, I love her! And I especially love how you didn't make her slender everywhere (not that it wouldn't work). I don't mind the slenderness, but I think we base many "beautiful beings" off of slenderness. Anyway, back to the artwork. I love the pose...the color...wow. How much time did this take you? It took me two hours just to get a basic coloring in at my boyfriend's house, and it looks like crap. But keep up the good work! I'll be checking back for more.

:-) Christine E. King replies: "Hrmm..thinking on it I think this took me 3 hours or so of actual work with a lot of stopping and starting. I like how the pose came out too,my poses seem to work out better if I'm not focusing on making a good pose. Like too much concentration just stunts the process or something. Thankee so much for such a nice comment, now I'm gonna wander over to your gallery... ^_^"

I'm so infinately confused!! (but in a good way) ... How do you get the colors so ... Solid, in your pictures?? I wish i knew how to use photoshop better...Buttt...I dont ... So... I fail. Haha. But this piece is wonderful! You should be proud of your art...Maybe your art teacher..Was....An android! And thats why you didnt get a good grade .. Thats what im betting. Anyway. Awesome. With the photoshop coloring. Very impressive!

:-) Christine E. King replies: "I'm not doin much special, it's just the paint tool in photoshop, but I'm glad you like it ^_^ Thanku for such a nice comment. If I got a handle on photoshop, anyone can, so keep trying!"

Nice! I like her proportions, very...well..dog-like 19) Feminine, but still more strong-limbed and angular like a dog...Nice photoshop work, I'm still trying to get a hang of the program. I can do silver for flat metallic surfaces, but hair sounds like an interesting challenge...

1 Christine E. King replies: "It's a challenge I've yet to meet lol. Thanks for commenting, I didnt want her to look all frail cos it just would've been wrong I say, so thanks for noticing her strength^_^"
