Hoorah!! You DID continue your usage of watercolours! ::flails in glee:: Y'see? I told ya that you do well with them! Bravo!! ^___^

I think the colour gives this a lot of dimension that the b&w version couldn't. The watercolours make him appear to be chock-full of shininess and creases, which makes him more realistic as well, and gives it much more definition then the other does. 1 I also love the broken-lined, right-outta-the-sketchbook look of the other one though... so.. it was just a great project overall! 2

:-) Claire E. Condon replies: "I wish I could see you flail in glee! That sounds like an amusing thing to do, as well as observe... I shall hope to continue making you so delighted! My art teacher, a small, bald, and friendly creature, told me to experiment with line-thickness and implied outlines, so that was the first attempt. The second was executed just today.... and it'll be up very soon. I think you'll like it bunches. Thank you for your comments, they're always so much fun!"

*his* art... anyway, it's totally cool. I love the semi-lighting effect around him. I also like how you put the feathers on his belt. Very nice touch. Thanks again, and I hope to see more of your stuff!

:-) Claire E. Condon replies: "Oh! Oh, I'm so sorry! I feel so much the town idiot! Thanks for not yelling at me... sorry... will fix..."

Good job with the water colors... Though I like the non-watercolored one a whole lot more.

I just don't think the watercolors work for this picture.

I gave the drawing:
** ** ** *
Seven stars

and the watercolor gets:
** ** **
Six stars.

:-) Claire E. Condon replies: "I'm not so good at watercolors- guess it's not hard to tell! I suppose I'll just work on them harder. Thanks for commenting!"

Whaa.. This is water clor?? Wow great done...

:-) Claire E. Condon replies: "Thanks! Yuppers, a 16 color set, I think, that come in the little plastic boxes and already have a brush (oh, how I love them!)."
