I can’t believe you have so few comments on your artwork. This is all wonderful. Kudos. Richard Claraval
replies: "Kayla, Sorry it took a while to respond -- uber busy with the art thing. Thank you so much for this and your other comments -- always good to hear. The Tolkien work is a secondary thing for me -- here’s my main work if you’re interested. www.richardclaraval.com
Couldn’t tell you why so few other comments. I think my Tolkien stuff is pretty good too. Wish I could sell some as well -- if you can figure it out I’d love to know!
I like your drawing of the big cat I saw someplace. Is drawing something you are pursuing seriously? "

I took a look at your website, and I really like your art style. I feel like a lot of the more abstract art is almost a cop-out for some people, who just can’t get down the forms of tangible things. But that’s clearly not true in your case. You have a masterful grip of the human body.
I’m always drawing (even at work!), and am currently working on a graphic novel. Always trying to hone my skill. Maybe someday I’ll be good enough to sell. =3
