This is my impression of generally what Melkor, the fallen Ainur, from J.R.R.Tolkien's, The Silmarillion,  would look like while still in Valinor, before he was changed into Morgoth.

Superbly done. Has all the strength of a guy whose name means "He Who Arises in Might." And you can see those discordant thoughts in the Ainulindale already bubbling to the surface.

Great to have someone understand the piece well. You might be interested to know that I used the young Marlon Brando as the chief model -- not the nose obviously.
I was interested in capturing his deviousness too.

I have done a more sort of abstracted Melkor as a etching which I will be posting. I’d be interested I what you think of it.
