| 23 Jan 2004 | Oliver Jöhnk | Welcome to the woods! Unbelievable that there are no comments yet. You show some great pictures. I like your 'look what I found' best until now. In general I'm only able to give you the most boring advice. You'll improve a lot with much exercise and study a bit proportions. Many details are almost perfect but fit not completly together. I really like your 'look what I found' picture, but the thumb seems to be a little small compared with the other fingers and your executioner seems to lack something to sit on. He has very strong legs but no back. And the pose of the guy in the middle of your unfinished picture is great, but his head is a bit out of place and the front part of his chest is okay, but the back's missing again. It looks a bit as if he's a bended 2D person and not 3D. But these are all things you'll be able to do better with some practice for your pictures show that you did not loose your talent but only constant training of your skills. | |
| 27 Mar 2004 | Zade | I have to agree with this person. But i have to say that some parts of your pics seemed rushed. Like the person that is about to be killed seems really good but then the executioner (to me) seems rushed. The hand i love, its very trapping. Thats all i need to say you well gain talent the more you try. But remember even if you know the best styles, from books and other referees, your not good unless you put them to use. Thats what i had to learn, the hard way.
Keep up the good work. | |
| 9 Aug 2004 | ALS | You have an amazing talent and I have no doubt whatsoever that not only will you regain whatever you lost but you will also exceed your expectations and everyone else's. Your ability to depict depth and attention to realistic detailing is astounding. I look very forward to playing a game designed by your hand someday. | |
