| 24 Jun 2005 | J. Atlas Burke | Oh...belive me: one way or another you WILL find out. I hope they can avenge the rose bowl... Claire G. Griffin replies: "I see know reason for any vengeance to be necessary. The right (or left) people won." | |
| 24 Jun 2005 | J. Atlas Burke | I didn't expect you to. He's actually the mayor of detroit at the moment. And he's baaaaaaaaaad. He hires all his friends, rents lincoln navigators for his wife, goes to the bahamas, has wild times in spa clubs. ...all of which is, of course, at the city's expense. Oh, by the way. I know you aren't in San Antonio, but I just want you to know that if the Spurs win I expect a good amount of taunting. Fair? Claire G. Griffin replies: "Sounds a lot like DeLay.Taunting sounds good, they are still Texans afterall. But you'll have to tell me because I pay absolutely no attention to sports." | |
| 18 Aug 2005 | John Bolton | Yeah haaaa! I'm in the UN! I can't wait to alienate America!!!! I'm gonna kick Kofi Anan in da ballz and give the President o' France a wedgie!! Then I'm gonna u r i n a t e on the UN flag and take a dump in the Russian embassy. I cant wail to get to the Cafeteria and force the Indian delagation to eat Hambergerz. What a great discion Mr. Bush made! Claire G. Griffin replies: "Wow...been awhile since I replied to comments. Although, this particular one doesn't really deserve a response." | |
| 20 Aug 2005 | Claire Elizabeth Codner | hi Claire! My name is Claire, too! OMG! Hey, I'm a writer too!! OMG! we are like.. alike... yeah... Claire G. Griffin replies: "Probably not that much alike...but ok." | |
| 23 Aug 2005 | Your President | Hey Claire, heh heh heh. Hows your summer going? I've been having a good time on my ranch drinking beer and fishin'. yup thats the life! I went bike riding with American Hero, Lance Armstrong. Say, have YOU ever met Lance Armstrong??? heh heh, thought not... I just love summer vacation! It's a good thing nothing important is going on in the world to distract me from my merrymaking. I gotta go now and chop some endangered trees for firewood, see you! Claire G. Griffin replies: "Actually, I have met Lance. He does live in Austin, afterall. Wasn't all that impressive, and not likely he remebered anyone from the event, anyway. As for cutting down trees, its actually prbably a better way for him to spend time instead of messing up the gov't even more. And he was cutting down ashe juniper, I believe, which any environmentalist will tell you is a very good thing. Not an endangered species." | |
| 1 Oct 2005 | Bill Bennet | I support abortion but only for black babies. It will lower the crime rate! Yay! Claire G. Griffin replies: "So, you watch the Daily Show too, huh?" | |
| 5 Oct 2005 | Hanna James | You seem to have quite a few politicians visiting your page. Anyway, thanks for the college info. type stuff. I've gotten so much mail that I can't even read it anymore, and it's all very confusing because, of course, all the colleges claim to be the best one for me, which we all know isn't always true. By the way, are you in college yet? Or high school? Or have you graduated from college? I can't seem to remember... guess it really doesn't matter, though, 'cept for advice later when I apply for colleges. Claire G. Griffin replies: "Wow...you weren't kidding when you mentioned the new icons. I'm a senior in high school right now, so I'm right in the middle of it. Feel free to ask for advice. I used Muffin and plenty of other online people for help. One thing, though. I know very little about Texas colleges ('cept UT, being in Austin and all) , so if you want to stay here, don't count on me for advice. ;-)" | |
| 29 Jan 2006 | Ray Krisman | yoya What's up with all the 'anonymous under names' people claiming to be in the UN and being president and all? Claire G. Griffin replies: "No idea...I've been focusing more on Alito and such then international politics, much to my shame. Plus college apps eat up time..." | |
| 30 Jan 2006 | Hanna James | There has to be a Serenity II. I demand it. Even better, if Firefly were picked up again, and left off where Serenity ended - that would just rock my socks and rule my shoes. ^_^ It's great to find fellow browncoats. Claire G. Griffin replies: "Well, Joss Whedon is saying that if Serenity makes enough money in DVD sales they're likely to make it into a trilogy. Which equals extreme joy!" | |
