She maybe old but Bluie still has some unicorn magic in her. In her young days she was called Blue snowflake, but when she saved an baby elf on the high mountian tops some year back he could only say Bluie. So this is what she became known as.

This is one of my new style equine drawings, i have been working on the way i draw horses. I kinda like the way she worked out. Though the coloring really sucks. This is why all my other drawings are not colored. I think she turned out good. Other then her back legs are kind of funny.

surprised that there are not more comments here...i like the different perspective that you gave here. most (including myself) go for the typical unicorn. wonderful job!!

The head and pose are especially well done, and while the background could perhaps be a little bit smoother, I love the color combinations you used for the sky and coat. 1

:-) Larka mae Steinberg replies: "TY.. i am always very colotfull when it comes to the sky...of course as you se i rarely color things..but soon that will change!"

cool - i find that Draw 50 Horses really helps when tlearning to draw horses - i think the colouring suits the pic, kind of rough and sponteanious...she looks sort of sad *hugs*
