  | All right, this one's a bit odd. It's not the picture that's the art, it's the costume. This is my costume for Bark the Brownie, a character I play at the Guelph Fairie Festival. I designed and sewed the costume myself. I didn't make the accessories--- boots, tights, belt and pouch were all bought ready-made-- but the corset, shift, and design are all my own work. The shift is crinkle cotton and the corset is cordouroy. Everything has sort of a wrinkled, textured look to go along with the name Bark. There's also a little pointed hat, which I took off to dance. |
