  | This is a goblin I sculpted out of plastercine. I had been sculpting a little head, just for fun, when the fire alarm went off in my dorm. I took the plastercine and the dental tool I'd been shaping it with along with me as something to do while they cleared the building. It's interesting how having multiple false alarms in one month alters your opinion on what you should take with you. Turns out that this time there actually WAS a fire- someone had burnt popcorn in the microwave, so we were kept out of the building for a good long while. Mr. Clay Head started out fairly realistic, but once I'd made the realistic head I had nothing left to do. So I exagerated the features and gave him a horn, and he turned into a cute little monster. |
