“Oh, I am sorry. We, my pack, have just moved here and no one objected to us being here so we thought it was rightfully ours. I am sorry for our trouble, but could you please tell us where a beach is that doesn’t have your type for us to bother?” Making the plan in her mind, if the seal was leader and she could sucker him into letting her pack stay, she would be happy. She had checked all the other beaches for miles and they were not as good as this one, so she wanted to stay.
“Leave? Why would we want you to leave? You will not bother us. I am leader and I say you can stay!”
Smiling as sweet as she could, bowing her head, and thinking Geeze that was easier then I thought. Free bodyguards and I have heard that they leave huge fish out sometimes and that will give us enough to eat during this barren time. “Thank you very much. We appreciate what you have done for us. Now if you excuse me I must tell my pack. Good-bye for now!

Running through the sand she felt alive and well. She had not felt that way since two births ago. That was when she became leader. That was after all that had happened. Jumping on a rock and looking the way she needed to go, she felt as she was being watched, studied if you will. Trying to be casual she looked around. Nothing was where she looked, yet she still felt that feeling liked she was being watched. Looking back to the woods where she lived she saw two of her pack mates hunting. Sighing, she went to greet them. But as she got closer she noticed that they were not of her pack. It was a moving party! But who would move on such a great season for squirrels? It was almost Coldsky so all furry animals would hibernate. As she moved closer upwind to the cats, she saw that they were painfully small and thin and from and even from 10 paws away she could here their stomachs growling for food.
“What are you doing on our territory?” Apparently IceEyes had scared them and right then that was not the best thing.
Startled, they answered, “This belongs to someone?”
Seeing the pain in their eyes, IceEyes could not cast out starving cats and kittens in need. “I am sorry for startling you. I am IceEyes, leader of the Moon Pack. I mean you no harm, but peace and many questions. What pack are you? What are you doing here? Also, why are you so thin when Coldsky is near?”
“We are the Water Pack. We were cast out by the beings. They polluted our system of hunting and now we were taken away from our home. That is why we are here. We wanted to know if you were willing to help us? Our leader has gotten Redthroat and we need food very badly. We are not good land hunters as you can see so we are starving even more.”
