| 16 Feb 2006 | Vron's Alter Ego | Loading...When I joined chris' Forgotten Realms campaign. I originally created a blood magus but decide to have a more evil tilt. So I started pushing him toward a power hungry wizard. During the adventure Vron was killed with a single blast from an adult red dragon's breath. Since Vron refused any god's patronage he was placed into the wall of the faithless. His destiny was to rot away from the soul eating fungus the covers the wall. Luckily, demons attack the wall that Vron was in to steals souls to take to the Abyss. Vron was able to escape the wall and the demons and ventured forth into the gray wastes of the Fugue Plane. He walked the fugue plane with a voice calling to him. When he thought there was no hope Karsis the petrified ruler of ancient Netheril appeared to him. Karsis had once become the only mortal to gain godhood through a spell. Since he had done that, for only a short time his followers had begun to worship him as a god. So he had the powers of a minor deity and now he called out to Vron. Vron would be a new messenger to spread the dogma of Karsis. Karsis give as much power he could muster, and gave Vron a new body and new abilities. Karsis placed Vron back on the Material Plane. Vron returned to the Seekers of Fortune, the guild that he was a founding member of, as he gained in power he spread the word of Karsis to everyone even to those that hated him for it. Currently, Vron and the other Seekers of Fortune are relaxing from a hard fought battle in Rappan Athuk. Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "I hope Vron hasn't got too comfortable with spell research and posh surroundings. Its almost time for the next chapter. Has anyone mentioned 'Epic Level' lately..." | |
| 21 Feb 2006 | Jen | Loading..."Vron"... Incoherent as always... *ducks* If Vron would have sounded half as attractive as this picture makes him out to be, my character for that campaign might not have been so asexual. I can't wait until you get the colored version done. Good job, Chris. Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "Colored version is complete. What should the next project be?" | |
