Christopher drawing in my free time, escaping reality

Hello,  my name is Chris Herdman.  Since around middle school, I have had an interest in sci/fi and/or fantasy role playing games such as AD&D, Marvel Super Heroes, and Star Frontiers.  I began drawing (very) crude comic book strips with my friends around that same time.  As I started to improve, I decided that I wanted to draw comic books for a living.  Immediately after high school, I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with that goal in mind.  Years later that particular goal started to fade, but not my desire to continue my D&D hobby and art.

You are brilliant, you're stile reminds me of the comics books I've read when I was but a wee lad, ahhh good memories!!!
As for you're dream, I think you could make a decent comic book or novel using the three gothic characters!!
My fellow traveler on the road to fulfillment I share the same dream, but alas I am not as good as you( yeah I am pathetic) and I also live in a place sooooo abnormally lifeless and clueless(Romania) that there seems to be no need nor acceptance for people with ideas.
I think I'll go wallow in self pity! Bye

Hey Chris, welcome to elfwood n stuff. I would comment on your art, but I've already done that all of your adult and part of your child hood life. So you already know what I think on it. Pretty Damn Good Artist you are if I must say. I have always enjoyed working on projects with you.

:-) Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "Thanks John. Speaking of projects.. shouldn't we be working on something? Maybe a group picture of all our flagship characters? Maybe Cyrion, Elrich, Kier' Khante, and Matisha. Then 4 of yours... Darmanious, Bilfrum, Sinclaira and ???? I think it would look good."

You know, since I saw this "check spelling" button over here, some of your other commenters have no excuse.

Pardon. That was catty of me, huh?

So, HI CHRIS! I think you're awesome, and slightly fruity. I vow to give honest criticism.

:-) Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "Don't beat down my visitors Ms. Grammatica!"

If you ever make any money on the Liberator character, or anyone else from the Herdman/Harper universe....I'm suing your butt. 2

:-) Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "Noted. I love you too"

Hi Christopher, the sketches you´ve added are looking very cool.
This black pen style reminds me of sketches from the elder scrolls.

:-) Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "Thanks Markus! I love those drawings."

I keep seeing the same basic male face in most of your drawings.... Since you don’t have a photo of you.... I’m assuming that’s what you look like. They are all nicely done.... do you look in the mirror sometimes when drawing your characters?.... I know it helps me a lot....

:-) Christopher Lee Herdman replies: "Can’t say any of these characters look like me. If anything, I probably have some of the "John Byrne Syndrome". I’ve been trying to vary my style when I’ve drawn lately. Don’t know if its working...

Thanks for visiting!"
