| 15 May 2003 | Sophia 'Trollkind' Sundin | Loading...oh man, I like this one! It just feels like I'm standing in front of a biiiig wall and starring at this. And i would ask deleria, the cleric of my d&d-group, what is written there. and just at that moment a demon comes out of the shades, suddenly we are surrounded by flames ... Do we have a chance to survive? I take my bow... very inspiring picture! Coen de Moor replies: "Yes, I guess something like that would happen..." | |
| 17 May 2003 | Jorieke JoSav Savelkouls | Loading...Wee! I think this is such a cool picture! The knights are very cool but the demons... the demons are absolutely fantastic! I want one! Lol. Good use of color too. Coen de Moor replies: "Thanks for liking it. I personaly think this is one of my best pictures ever. But other people can always have other ideas about it. You want a demon? That is so typpically you. Other people want kittens or a puppy, but you want a demon. I'll see if I can catch some for you...." | |

| 20 Oct 2003 | Rochelle Green | Loading...I feel as if the holy ones are losing, because there is that demon flying over the knights looking mighty pleased with himself! Nice work with texture here I really like that poor scared priestie. | |

| 8 Nov 2003 | Daniel Maertens | Loading...i think this invokes such a mood, so old, and heavy...of an ancient conflict, and legends, ahhh, this picture has very good story telling. Thats gothic script, i have seen actual gothic script, Its so interesting, Its a langauge, Like germanic or something, visisgoth/ostrogoth? or is it from later ages? anyways, its very intrigueing. Coen de Moor replies: "Thank you.About the text: it is a well known prayer translated into gothic by a fourth century bisshop. In gothic it reads 'Atta unsar yn in himinam' (father ours up in heaven).I don't remeber the name of the bisshop, but it is one of the first attempts to put a Gothic language into writing. Latin and Greek were written languanges, but the "barbarian" languages were only spoken, not written. This bisshop developed an alphabet, based on the latin alphabet, but also inspired by runes, to bring christian messages closer to the barbarians. So, I didn't make it up, I only copied it. It was a lot of work though, to exactly copy the letters.Of coures, I did make the picture up, but not the text. " | |
