0_o Wouldn't he just be able to slip his hands out of the chains? The shackles are to big for him.

:-) Coen de Moor replies: "He's a ghost; he could get rid of any chains anytime he wants. But ghosts don't do that. They keep on dragging their chains around and make a lot of noise with it. Don't ask me why it works this way; I am not a ghost myself."

Ooohhhhh Oscar Wilde!!!! The Canterville Ghost is such a great story!! And the ghost is just how I imagined it!

:-) Coen de Moor replies: "Congratulations! You are the first one to recognize which story this picture is from. (I wouldn't recognize it myself)"

Not a chained Rusalka but she stands there beside the chained house spirit.

Awwwwww! I dunno why.. It makes me sad

:-) Coen de Moor replies: "Weel, the original story is quite humorous and funny, but it is very sad too."

That old guy rox ! He sure's scary... zzzcarrry...

:-) Coen de Moor replies: "I'm relieved you find him scary, he's supposed to be scary. He's a ghost. If he's not scary, he's not doing his job right. In fact, that is just what this story is about, if I remember well."

Ooh! Texture and shape and tone! It's all brilliant and amazing and great and... yeah... grooviness abounds.

:-) Coen de Moor replies: "Like....groovy....you know....like wow, you know!"

You know? The chained ghost looks a bit like a character from Fields of Summer. Odd how it only struck me just now. I like his arms, and his head. 2

Lovely picture... It brings across the atmosphere of Wilde's story quite well, I think, just a tiny little bit scary without being really frightening and terrible. I especially love the background - and the expression on Virginia's face (assuming the person in the background *is* actually Virginia) - it fits her personality quite well, I believe.

15 Coen de Moor replies: "Yes, this is Virginia. Thanks for your comments."

The wall is very well done, with the crosshatching and all. My favorite part is the old guy, the ghost. Makes me want to read to story...
